Today, we're proud to re-introduce this classic boot. Every single pair is built by hand in Portland, Oregon, with full-grain leather, Vibram Kletterlift outsoles, and waterproof GORE-TEX liners. The result is a classic design that provides unmatched comfort and support.

FULL-GRAIN LEATHER UPPER

To ensure its quality, we put our leather through six different tests before making our selection. Our full-grain leathers are the strongest and most durable form of leather.

RETRO ONE PIECE LEATHER UPPER

Our one-piece leather design eliminates openings in the tongue area to help keep out debris and water. It also creates a simple finish with minimal seams.

GORE-TEX (GTX)

100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out.

VIBRAM® KLETTERLIFT OUTSOLE

Specifically designed for comfort and durability; the heel provides superb shock absorption and the rubber compound guarantees great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces.

STITCHDOWN CONSTRUCTION

Handcrafted to provide a wider platform, our legendary stitchdown construction offers increased stability underfoot. Many of our stitchdown boots can be recrafted.

RECRAFTABLE

Extend the life of your boot with our recrafting services. This boot is eligible for a number of paid services, including part replacement, leather care and restitching.

Our footwear products are sized according to the Brannock device and are in US sizes. If you are unsure of your size, we suggest getting your foot measured on this device as it will indicate both the length and width of your foot. The Brannock device can be found at most shoe or boot retail stores.

How it Fits

This EE width is designed to fit an average width foot, similar to a D width. The 650 EE last offers a more relaxed fit for casual, everyday wear while still offering support and stability. Since this style runs a little long, we recommend sizing down a half size for the best fit.

Personal Recommendation

Normally our general size is US 9, EU 42 1/2.  Our Danner Mountain Light boots are 8.5.  We tried size 8 but it was too small.  So we would recommend sizing 1/2 US size down from your sneakers.

It's comparable to other US leather boot sizes - same as Redwing and Viberg, so get the same size as your other leather boots.
